Hi, I’m Hassan — a quantitative developer in Abu Dhabi.

My work, told as Hassan City.

This is my interactive portfolio: a guided 3D flight through the trading systems, options tools, ML workflows, and software I build — with a few side quests along the way.

Muhammad Hassan Tariq — Quantitative Developer

Welcome to Hassan City. The interactive 3D tour needs WebGL; if you are reading this instead, here is the same story in plain words — university, trading desks, machine learning, and the side quests in between.

The tour, in words

Where it began — Taylor's University

BSc (Hons) Computer Science, specialising in AI & Cybersecurity. Graduated December 2022 after a foundation year at Heriot-Watt University Dubai. Certified: Azure AZ-900 and CISI (UAE).

The building years — Al Ramz (2022–2025)

Joined the Robotics & Algorithms desk as a Software Engineer and grew into a Quantitative Developer role. Built a proprietary FIX engine for automated execution, Blazor risk dashboards, and margin frameworks.

Today — International Resources Holding, Quant Equities (since September 2025)

ML.NET models trading global equities, with Databricks research pipelines feeding the desk. Built an OTC options platform pricing Greeks, volatility surfaces, and IV term structure — deployed and generating signals in production.

Toolbox

  • C# · .NET · Blazor · ML.NET · WPF · SQL
  • Python · Databricks · FIX Protocol
  • Azure DevOps · PowerShell · MSSQL
  • Currently evaluating PostgreSQL and AWS for the next generation of the stack

After hours

Padel and cricket on weekends, a Mustang GT that treats fuel as a suggestion rather than a resource, coding projects that never see the light of day, and a watchlist of emerging markets that's always open somewhere in the world.

About the city's weather

The skyline's weather is driven by a real market feed: a basket of SPY (56.25%) and QQQ (43.75%). Green tape brings sunshine, a pullback brings rain, a sell-off brings the storm. The feed refreshes during US market hours.
